“ Quiant little lounge to eat or take your favorite libation at the bar. Right downtown Marine City! This is more of a hamburger, sandwich, salads, and from the deep fry side, kind of establishment. You can eat in or dine out on the patio. The Lounge is handicapped accessible for wheelchair but not the outdoor seating. Polly was very friendly attentive. Men and Women's bathrooms handicapped accessible. Clean! You get a bowl of popcorn at the onset of your arriving at your table. ”

“ We stopped into Gar's (for the first time) for lunch one day while in the area. As we sat down, we got a tray of popcorn! I had the cauliflower/broccoli cheese soup, and it was so good that I still think of it daily. My husband enjoyed his clam chowder soup. The place was clean, the service was friendly and quick, and we loved the nautical decor. Can't wait to go back! ”
“ Have had several sandwiches and all good and very big! Last night we had the corned beef and a regular burger with all the trimmings. Lively with lots of patrons enjoying themselves and super nice bartenders! I also like the chicken club which is grilled. My kind of bar! Music, big beer boomba, fresh popcorn... 1/2# Special Gar burger with bacon, mushroom and Swiss... only could eat half! Was medium well done just as I prefer my burger, and was still a two napkin juicy burger. Definitely recommend the old school long bar, tables and picnic tables for a game. They now have full sports package for two years! Don’t miss the very large pool table room (2 tables) with big window street view. We will be back for a game for sure. ”
